Ball Valve FAQs For Buyers And Engineers

Q

Are you a professional manufacturer or a trading company?

A

AOGONG is a OEM & ODM ball valve manufacturer with over 30 years of production experience. We operate our own factory with full in-house CNC machining, precision assembly, and pressure testing capabilities. If you are evaluating an industrial ball valve supplier for an EPC project or long-term procurement, you are dealing with the source factory directly.

Q

Can I place a sample order?

A

Yes. Sample orders are accepted, including mixed samples across different specifications, sizes, or materials. This is particularly useful for procurement qualification or engineering review before a bulk order. Please contact us with your required DN size, pressure class, material, and seat type and we will confirm availability and lead time.

Q

What body materials do your ball valves use?

A

We manufacture ball valves in a wide range of materials to match your operating conditions:

  • Carbon Steel: ASTM A105, ASTM A216 WCB
  • Low Temperature Carbon Steel: ASTM A350 LF2 (down to –196°C)
  • Stainless Steel: ASTM A182 F304 / F316; ASTM A351 CF8 / CF8M
  • Duplex & Super Duplex Steel: ASTM A182 F51 / F53
  • Alloy Steel: ASTM A217 WC6 / WC9 / C5 / C12A; ASTM A182 F5 / F11 / F22
  • High-Performance Alloys: Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy, 904L, Alloy 20, Zirconium, Titanium
Q

What media are your valves compatible with?

A

Our ball valves handle a broad range of process media, including:

  • Water, steam, and gas systems.
  • Crude oil and refined petroleum products.
  • Corrosive or abrasive industrial fluids.
  • Specialized applications like Coal Chemical, Polysilicon, LNG, and Refineries.

Please share your medium composition, temperature, and pressure parameters — we will recommend the optimal configuration.

Q

What are the temperature and pressure ranges?

A
  • Metal seated ball valves: –196°C to +880°C; pressure range PN2.5 to PN420
  • Soft seated ball valves: –29°C to +200°C

Our high pressure and cryogenic valves are engineered for severe service where standard designs fail, fully compliant with API 6D, ASME, and EN standards.

Q

Can you manufacture valves with our brand or logo?

A

Yes. We provide full OEM ball valve manufacturing service, including custom branding, logo marking, and private-label packaging. We also support custom valve designs to your drawings or specifications. Please contact our team to discuss your requirements and MOQ.

Q

What about the lead time?

A
  • Standard stock items: Ready for dispatch within 15 days
  • Custom or engineered valves: Typically 4–10 weeks depending on complexity (e.g., Inconel, PN420, cryogenic).

For EPC project procurement or bulk orders, contact us early to schedule production and confirm delivery windows.
